Description

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, co-sponsored by the Office of the Minister of Education of Spain, will present a lecture series of Spanish Women Writers beginning Monday, February 13, 2006 4:30 PM with Marina Mayoral, “Las escritoras ante el tercer milenio:  balance y cuentas pendientes”, and Fanny Rubio, “La poesia femenina de post-guerra”.  The series will continue Monday, March 6, 2006 4:30 PM with Ana Merino, “Nuevas construcciones poéticas en la literatura de mujeres” and conclude Thursday, April 27, 2006 4:30 PM with Care Santos, “Contra la literatura femenina”.  All lectures will take place in Merrick 210-02, the department’s new conference room.
