The University of Miami operates the Hurry 'Cane Shuttle during fall and spring semesters. The Shuttle fleet, partially comprised of bio-deisel fueled Optima's, is equipped with state of the art wheelchair accessible buses, and is available free of charge to all UM students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Shuttle serves most major campus buildings, parking lots, and the University Metrorail station at 6 to 8 minute intervals during class days, and 15 to 20 minute intervals at other times.  The Hurry 'Cane Shuttle facilitates use of perimeter parking lots, and provides a convenient means of traversing campus without using a personal vehicle.
