Ponce de Leon Garage:
All holders of a valid University of Miami parking permit may park in the Ponce de Leon Garage.
For security reasons, the entry gate of the Ponce de Leon Garage is closed at night and on weekends, while the main exit is open for the convenience of those leaving the garage. Holders of valid UM parking permits need only step inside to the UM Police Dispatch office in the 1st floor lobby to request entrance. The first level and ramp to the second level of the Ponce de Leon Garage are for short-term parking only. Any motor vehicle to be parked overnight and/or for more than 24 hours must proceed to the 2nd level or higher. During Winter and Spring break holidays, 24-hour parking is provided on the 2nd level and above at the Ponce de Leon Garage for holders of all valid University of Miami parking permits. Winter break parking is available as of the final day of Fall semester classes, as determined by the University's academic calendar. Spring break parking is available as of the Friday before Spring recess, as determined by the University's academic calendar.
Pavia Garage:
Commuter students, employees, and faculty members who have purchased valid University of Miami parking permits, and who have said permit properly displayed in their vehicle may park in the Pavia Garage. Resident student parking permits and Discount parking permits do not allow parking in the Pavia Garage. Pavia Garage is closed on Sundays.
Mahoney/Pearson Garage:
Mahoney/Pearson Garage is exclusively for the use of Resident students who have purchased a valid University of Miami Resident Student parking permit, and who have that permit properly displayed in their vehicle. Mahoney/Pearson Garage is closed during both Summer and Winter breaks. For the summer, the garage is closed Tuesday evening following Spring Commencement through the Sunday before UM housing intake in August. For winter break, the garage is closed Tuesday evening following Fall Commencement through the Sunday before UM housing intake in January.
