Dr. Terri A. Scandura is Professor of Management with tenure at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. She received her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the School of Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati, with support areas in Social Psychology and Research Methods.

Dr. Scandura's fields of interest include leadership, mentorship, and research methods. She has authored numerous articles and book chapters, published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Industrial Relations, the Academy of Management Journal, the Journal of Management, the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, The Leadership Quarterly, Educational and Psychological Measurement, Research in Organizational Behavior, the Journal of Vocational Behavior and others.

Dr. Scandura has been a visiting scholar in Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong, and China. She has taught Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and High Performance Teams at the University of Miami with extensive experience teaching in Executive MBA programs. She has also served on the faculty of the University of Kentucky College of Business and Economics.

Dr. Scandura was the national recipient of the 1988 American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Doctoral Dissertation fellowship, and has received research grants from the Ashland Oil Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Labor. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Academy of Management. She is past-president of the Southern Management Association and past division chair of the Research Methods Division of the Academy of Management. She reviews for several academic journals and is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Management, Group & Organization Management and the Journal of International Business Studies .

Dr. Scandura has been honored with the University of Miami School Of Business Excellence in Research Award three times, most recently in 2006. She has mentored Doctoral students at the University of Kentucky and the University of Miami. All of her students have been employed by universities upon graduation; and several are now tenured professors.
