The Scientific Awards Committee of the Miller School of Medicine:
1) Makes recommendations for the distribution of general research funds of the Miller School (emergency and non-emergency).
2) Serves as a scientific peer review panel for other internal research grant programs at the Miller School.
3) Serves as an advisory body to the Dean of the Miller School of Medicine and the Executive Dean for Research & Research Training on all matters relating to research and researchers at the Miller School.
