Research Seminars and Training
The Office of Research sponsors a number of educational opportunities on a variety of topics. Sponsored Programs related seminars and training opportunities are available as well as the federally mandated educational programs for individuals doing research on human subjects or animals.

Sponsored Programs Administration 101- a web-based course designed for staff and administrators involved in Sponsored Programs. REQUIRED to attend Special Seminar Series.
- Sponsored Programs Education Workshop - REQUIRED of all key personnel paid from a sponsored account.
- Sponsored Programs Roundtable Series - Discussion group meeting, primarily for staff/administrators to discuss topics of interested related to Sponsored Programs.
- Special Seminar Series - Topics focus on federal and institutional policies for applying and managing grants and contracts. Discussion will be in-depth, and attendees should have a general knowledge of institutional and federal policies.

Human Subjects Protection Education – REQUIRED if research involves the use of humans.

Humane Care and Use of Animals – REQUIRED if research involves the use of animals.

Human Subjects Monthly Lecture Series –Small group seminars on topics related to Human Subjects research.

Research Compliance Assessment Clinical Coordinator Series – Workshops offered throughout the year for faculty and staff on research compliance topics.

Write Winning Grants - A grant writing seminar for faculty conducted by Dr. Stephen Russell of Grant Writers' Seminars and Workshops.
