Have you read and understand the Terms and Conditions of your award?
Do you know if your award falls under FDP and if so, what actions you are allowed to take?
If an NIH award, do you know what actions require written prior approval?
Is an Internal Prior Approval Request (IPAR) sufficient?
Do you know what actions constitute a change in the scope in the project?
Do you know what kind of prior notification and approval NIH needs for these actions?
For research involving animals, humans, rDNA, or biohazards, have you made certain that you have all the necessary institutional and sponsor approvals before spending any funds?
Do you know how long you are going to be funded and when progress reports are due?
