International students must take a full course of study (minimum 12 credits) in one of the programs approved as a Certificate program (American Studies, Architecture in New Urbanism, Cuban Studies, Ecosystem Science and Policy, International Finance and Marketing, Marine Science and Sport Administration), must meet the GPA expectation, and must meet the TOEFL requirements.
International students, whose native language is not English including those applying from a U.S. institution, are required to submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). If you already have an undergraduate or graduate degree from an academic institution within the United States or another English-speaking country, you will be exempt from this requirement.

$50 application fee payable to the University of Miami
All International Students are required to enroll in the student insurance plan sponsored by the Student Health Service. The health insurance premium is added to each student?s fee at the time of registration.
