GA/TA/RA Payroll Deduction:

GA/TA/RA's are required to obtain adequate health insurance according to the guidelines for Domestic and International students. A health insurance credit is available for Coral Gables GA/TA/RA's, Fellows and Trainees enrolled in the PhD and DMA programs. Payroll Deduction for these and other GA/TA/RA's is available under the employee tab at MyUM. If the payroll deduction option does not appear on your MyUM screen, please contact your department to verify the status of your assignment. The payroll deduction option will not appear on your MyUM screen until your student assignment has been processed by your department and entered by the Office of Student Employment. The deadline to select the payroll deduction option via MyUM is October 1st.
