Cars get towed. If you parked in the wrong place (for whatever reason), have accrued too many parking tickets or have some other violation, your car may be towed.

If your car was towed from campus, please call the UM Police Department for information on retrieving it.  The Parking and Transportation Department is responsible for requesting vehicle tows.  However, the Police Department is responsible for verifying owner information before an impounded vehicle is released.

You will need a valid driver's license and proof of ownership to get your car back.
