Breakthrough cancer surgery saves patient’s life
In groundbreaking surgical procedure, surgeons at the UM/JMH Transplant Institute removed a golf ball-sized tumor buried deep inside the abdomen of a Florida woman by taking out six of her organs, cutting out the cancerous growth, and then reassembling her insides. Read more
