Miami Circle is a volunteer program designed by the University of Miami’s Office of Admission to help alumni and parents of current UM students meet and mentor prospective students in their community. You would be asked to give a minimum time six hours per year to recruitment activities in your area. Of course, you can always volunteer for as many activities as you like.
Recruitment opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- Contacting prospective students in your community
- Representing your alma mater at college fairs and regional information sessions
- Planning and hosting social activities
- Organizing fun "send-off" parties for admitted students set to enter UM
