Mulitcultural Student Affairs
MSA provides guidance and support to African, Hispanic, Asian and Native American students at the University of Miami . The department provides a variety of programs and services that are designed to enhance the cultural, educational and personal development of students on campus.
Council of International Students and Organizations
COISO represents the needs and interests of our international student body, which comprises over 12 percent of the total student population. COISO is also the umbrella organization for over 30 international student organizations. COISO organizes events such as International Week and United Nations Day, retreats, excursions and other social events for international students.
Butler Volunteer Services Center
VSC offers a wide range of service opportunities centered around volunteering and advocacy for UM students, staff and local community members ranging from one-day special events, classroom experiences, year-long service organizations and volunteer opportunities during fall and spring break.
Religious Centers on Campus
As the official body responsible for religious life on campus, the University Chaplains Assoc. consists of various campus ministries that, cooperatively and individually, provide a variety of activiites that address the spiritual needs of students. Campus ministries services offered are Bible study, community service, counseling, discussions, fellowship, leadership training, retreats, social events, worship, etc.
