AAJA-Newhouse National Scholarships
Criteria: Program welcomes applications from historically underrepresented Asian Pacific American groups, including Southeast Asians, South Asians, Koreans, Filipinos, and Pacific Islanders. Applicants may be graduating high school seniors who declare journalism as a major. May also be an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in journalism and a career in print journalism. Selection is based on scholastic ability, commitment to journalism, sensitivity to Asian American issues as demonstrated by community involvement, journalistic ability and financial need.
