Hispanic College Fund, Inc.

Criteria: Must be accepted or enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student, pursuing a career in business (many disciplines other than Business acceptable). Have a GPA of 3.00 or better on a 4.00 scale. Must provide evidence of financial need. Must be a U.S. citizen of Hispanic origin residing in the U.S. (permanent residents are not eligible). Latin American Studies Program Competition

The LAS program will be conducting a competition for University of Miami students through the end of the semester. The program in Latin American Studies of the College of Arts & Sciences, of the University of Miami is pleased to announce a new annual competition. Three prizes will be awarded: $500 for first place, $250 for second place and $100 for the best entry from a first year student. Entries may be papers or creative projects, including original musical comP.O.sitions, art, and films. Media must be accompanied by a written description. Projects may be on any area related to Latin American, Hispanic or Latino life and culture
