Clairol Scholarship Program

Criteria: Scholarships are awarded for full-time or part-time programs of study at the master's or professional level. Must be a woman 30 years of age or older, be graduating within 24 months from August 31 of the application year, and have a definite plan to use the desired training to improve chances for advancement, to train for a new career field, or to enter or re-enter the job market.

Microsoft’s National Female Technical Scholarship

Criteria: To receive the National Women’s Technical Scholarship, the student must be female. The student must be enrolled full-time and be making satisfactory progress towards a degree in one of the following fields: computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, such as math or physics, with a demonstrated interest in computer science. The student must be enrolled in her sophomore or junior year (or her fourth year, if enrolled in a five-year program). Because the scholarship is merit-based, the student must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average out of a possible 4.0, or a 4.0 cumulative grade point average out of a possible 5.0. Five scholarships will be offered for this program. Each of the five students will receive $1,000 to be applied to their tuition for the 1999-2000 academic year. Students from across the United States will be selected in recognition of their passion for software and the ability to make a difference in the software industry. Selected students will be considered for a paid summer internship that offers an opportunity to work on the development of Microsoft products.

St. Petersburg Alumnae Panhellenic Association Student Scholarship

Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund

Criteria: Applicants must be a woman residing in the United States who plan to return to an accredited four-year college or university, no later than fall . Must plan to enroll on a part time basis to complete an undergraduate degree and have completed at least one year of a college semester a minimum of five years prior to Sept. 30.

University of Miami Women's Guild Scholarship, Miami-Dade County Chapter

Criteria: Women, age 22 or over, whose previous academic achievement has been above average and whose undergraduate studies have been interrupted or postponed for one year or more due to family, career, monetary or other personal reasons. Additionally, applicants must be currently accepted to or enrolled in a degree-seeking program the University of Miami, be enrolled at least 9 credit hours and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Applicants must be residents of Miami-Dade County prior to attending the University of Miami.
