This year more than a 20% of the incoming freshman class will receive scholarship funds from the University. UM academic scholarships reflect any increases in tuition costs while you are enrolled; if you receive a half-tuition award, that award will always equal half the tuition charges each year, even if tuition prices increase.Every student who applies for admission to the University is automatically considered for academic scholarships; there is no separate scholarship application form or process.There may also be limited numbers of departmental scholarships available based on your area of study. You should check directly with your school/college for scholarship availability.
