Orientation

Welcome to the University of Miami. We are excited to have you as part of our team. Orientation is a survival course for your first 30 days at UM. You can register for the New Employee Orientation in ULearn.

In this session you will get information about:

   Customer Service

   Benefits

   Equality Administration

   You will also learn more about how to get your ID,   

        Parking and other important information

  If you will be working on the Medical Campus, you will

  also be trained on:

     HIPAA
     OSHA

Orientation is done by campus. Gables and Rosenstiel employees have Orientation on Wednesdays at the Max Orovitz building at the Gables campus. Orientation starts promptly at 8:30 AM.

Medical Campus employees have orientation at the Medical Wellness Center. It is located in the Clinical Research Building: 1120 NW 14th Street, 9th Floor, Classroom C.

Orientation starts promptly at 8:30 AM.

BENEFIT ENROLLMENT DEADLINE:
We need your assistance in ensuring new hires or employees changing to benefit eligibility status attend orientation and return their completed benefit enrollment forms to the Benefits office. Doing so avoids the employee from being subjected to restricted or reduced benefits.
