Russia in the World: Summer Course in St. Petersburg, Russia

FIRST UM SUMMER SESSION 2008

Academic Offering: IGS 599: Section 02, 3 credits, graduate or senior undergraduates

Special Topics: Russia in the World. This interdisciplinary course will take place in St. Petersburg, Russia and features about a dozen St. Petersburg State University faculty members taking part (all taught in English).  The Faculty will be addressing the following topics: Russia’s relations with the USA, Europe, Asia, civil society, Islam and the church. The course is suitable for graduates as well as senior undergraduates in any field.                                 

Program Dates: June 16 - June 27, 2008

Cost: $1,350 per credit for graduate tuition.  Student pay for their airfare, meals and admissions to cultural programs.  Students stay in dorms at 25 Shevchenko street at Vasilevsky Island.  The cost is approximately $15 per night per person.
