The University of Copenhagen is in Denmark's capital, commercial and cultural center as well as Scandinavia's largest city. It is noted for its beautiful squares, picturesque canals, innovative architecture, and cozy cafes. The university was established in 1479 and has over 32,000 students on three campuses in the city. The language of instruction is primarily Danish with a significant number of courses taught in English each semester.

Room and Board
The international office assists exchange students in finding housing in Copenhagen. Students may rent rooms in private homes or share flats with other students.

The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is, with its 20,000 students and 1,600 full-time employees, the third largest university in Denmark. The largest campus is in Odense, home of world-renowned storyteller Hans Christian Andersen. Lively and youthful, Odense is a historical city on Funen with a bustling social scene and is little more than an hour away from Copenhagen. More than 1,500 international students study at USD each year. Other campuses are in Kolding, Esbjerg Sønderborg, and Slagelse, all vibrant cities with a lot to offer to students. About 40 full degrees are taught in English giving exchange students a substantial number of courses to choose from in English.

Prerequisites
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Room and Board
Every exchange student is guaranteed housing. Housing is in student halls or private rooms. Rooms vary in size but are typically between 10-16 m2. Generally students have their own room, but share a kitchen and bathroom with one or more students.

AALBORG UNIVERSITY

Aalborg is a pleasant and energetic university city and an excellent base for exploring northern Jutland. Historic Aalborg has fine museums, shops and friendly cafes. Located just north of the city is the largest Viking burial ground in Scandinavia. Aalborg University was founded in 1974 as the fifth Danish university and now has more than 13,000 students. The innovative faculty of Engineering and Science has a wide range of course offerings in the various fields.
