Welcome to the College of Engineering Deparments. The College of Engineering at the University of Miami has five diverse departments that all contain state-of-the-art equipment, labs and faculty. The departments are:

The College of Engineering offers curricula leading to Bachelor of Science Degrees in the following fields:

A dual degree program in cooperation with the School of Business Administration leads to the simultaneous award of the M.S.I.E and M.B.A. degrees. Ph.D. degrees are offered in the areas of:

• Ergonomics
• Industrial Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

The Doctor of Arts degree (designed primary to prepare students for college teaching) is available in:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering.

Interdisciplinary areas of study, areas of specialization within departments, and study in two entirely different areas are available through options, concentrations and dual degree programs.

The Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredit the programs in:
