NAME OF TRAINING:

Shipping Hazardous Materials (Chemicals)

CONTENT OF TRAINING:

Participants will understand the complexity of the regulations governing the shipment of hazardous materials (chemicals), including the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations on the Transportation of Hazardous Materials which apply to domestic shipments, and the International Air Transport (IATA) Association Dangerous Goods Regulations which apply to international shipments by air. Examples of hazardous materials shipped by the University of Miami are presented.

WHO MUST ATTEND:

All individuals associated with the shipment of hazardous materials (chemicals).

 

Training must be repeated every 2 years.
