If you have not registered/ updated your personal contact information, please take the time to do so right now!

Follow these instructions to register/ update your personal contact information on MyUM:

*Log onto https://myum.miami.edu and login with your Cane ID and password.

*On the MyUM hompage, locate the “Personal and Biographical Info” section in the right-hand column.  Click on the “Update Personal and Address Information” link.

*On the “Update Personal and Address Information” page, locate the “Cellular Phone Information” section and click on the “update this section” link.

*Enter your cellular telephone number, select your cell phone provider, and be sure to click consent button.  Finish the first update by clicking the “Submit” button once at the bottom of the screen.

*The system will automatically take you back to the “Update Personal and Address Information” section.  On this page, scroll down to the   “Preferred Mailing Address” section and click on the “update this section” link.

*Enter your home address and home telephone numbers.  Finish the second update by clicking the “Submit” button once at the bottom of the screen .

*The system will automatically take you back to the “Update Personal and Address Information” section.  On this page, scroll down to the “Permanent Address” section and click on the “update this section” link.

*Enter your permanent home address and home telephone number.  Finish the third and final update by clicking the “Submit” button once at the bottom of the screen.
