Advising

Each international student is assigned an International Student and Scholar Advisor based on his/her School/College.

> Schedule an appointment

In order to insure that your ISSS Advisor is available to meet with you when you come to the office, please make an appointment prior to your visit. Appointments should be made at least one day in advance. To make an appointment, contact your ISSS Advisor directly via email.

We understand that simple questions and processes often do not require an appointment. In these cases, you can email or call your ISSS Advisor to have a quick question answered. Your ISSS Advisor will respond to your e-mail or phone call no later than the end of the next business day.

No appointment is necessary to drop off documents, pick up documents, or have your documents copied for your file. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Although your International Student and Scholar Advisor is here to assist you, it is your responsibility to maintain your immigration status. It is imperative that you familiarize yourself with the regulations that govern your status. Failure to comply with these regulations will result in the loss of your student or scholar status and may subject you to deportation.
