Access to applications requires a connection to the IBM Mainframe at the Coral Gables Campus. This can be accomplished through several ways.
- Dial-up with a modem
- Direct connection through a controller
- Over the network
A user id can be obtained by completing the PIDMS ACCESS FORM and forwarding it to the appropriate Data Custodian for the application you need to gain access to.
If you plan to connect to the system with a modem, you will need to get a call-back user id (may be different from the IDMS user id) from Security and Control. They may be contacted at 284-3692 to request a call-back id. Once you have received an id, you may connect to the system by following the instructions for the Call Back System.
