The following End User Training On-the-Go policies and procedures will be strictly enforced:
* Submission of a request form does not guarantee a training arrangement. Requested class dates and times are subject to trainer and equipment availability. |
Where are the EUS training classes held? All classes are held in the Ungar Computer Center (room 311) on the Coral Gables campus, unless otherwise stated. Click here for driving directions. |
May I cancel my class registration? You may cancel your registration any time up to two (2)business days before the start of your course without your requisition being processed. |
Is there a charge for taking any of the classes offered by EUS? There is no charge to you or your department for any of our courses (tuition remission procedures are not necessary). |
Does EUS provide parking permits for employees? If you are traveling from the Medical or RSMAS campuses, transit by the Metrorail is the most convenient way to come to our classes. Board the University shuttle at the bench across the street from the Metrorail station. If you plan to drive, we will provide you with a temporary parking permit. Parking spaces are extremely difficult to find. Allow extra time to find a spot. In order to obtain a parking permit, you can contact the EUS helpdesk in at (305) 284-2944. Be sure to request a permit for each day you will be attending classes, as the permits we provide are one-day passes only. |
Is there a waiting list if the EUS classes are full? If you are not placed in the course of your choice, you will automatically be placed on a waiting list for that class. Please do not attend the class unless you have been confirmed. Enrollment for microcomputer classes will be year round. All class requests must be received three weeks before the class date. All other requests received will be placed onto a waiting list. The confirmation email generated online registration system does not guarentee registration enrollment to a class. |
How do I confirm that I am registered for a particular class? You are not officially enrolled in a course until you receive confirmation from our office. Please do not attend the class unless you have been confirmed. To double check, call the EUS helpdesk at (305) 284-2944 or email microtrainers@miami.edu. |
How can I find the training schedule for future semesters? At the beginning of each semester, a newsletter with the new schedule is distributed to the university community. The EUS website is also a good place to find our training schedule; however, that listing is only available for the current semester. In addition, the current training schedule is listed on our online registration page at https://eustraining.miami.edu. |
How do I register for a class offered by EUS? All EUS class registrations can be processed online at https://eustraining.miami.edu. If you are experiencing difficulties in registering online, call the EUS helpdesk at (305) 284-2944 to request telephone registration. For good measure, call the EUS helpdesk after submitting an online registration to ensure they have received it. |
Will I receive a certificate if I complete an EUS training class? Yes, upon completion of all sessions of an EUS class. The certificates will be mailed within one week of the end of a class's final session. |
Can I email a request to register or can I register online? Registrations can be processed online at https://eustraining.miami.edu, but if you are experiencing difficulties, you may send an email to microtrainers@miami.edu. |
