M. Lewis Temares Entrepreneurship Forum

In 1998, Edward Arnold, CEO of the Arnold Group and formerly Chairman & Chief Executive of Integrated Circuit Systems, conceived the idea of establishing a special event aimed students, alumni and interested engineering and business professionals.  The intent was to gather a panel of successful entrepreneurs to share advice, insights and perspective on success in today's incredibly fast-changing world.  This event was named for the Dean of the College of Engineering and the M. Lewis Temares Entrepreneurship Forum was born. Below are some basic information about the Entrepreneurship Forum:

General Information about the Entrepreneurship Forum

Held annually during the Spring semester, the evening consists of several invited entrepreneurs serving as panelists, for a freewheeling discussion .  The entrepreneurs share their personal stories, and focus on the challenges they faced in establishing or building their dreams.  The audience is encouraged to be active participants, asking questions and sharing their own thoughts and perspective on entrepreneurship, especially as it relates to the engineering, technology and business world of today, and tomorrow.  After the panel, presenters and guests gather for an informal reception at which there is a chance for individual conversation and fellowship.

Who is the Entrepreneurship Forum for?

The M. Lewis Temares Entrepreneurship Forum has quickly become a highlight of the academic year for the students.  As one commented "This evening taught me lessons I never could have gotten sitting in a classroom.  To listen to people who have actually taken the chances and reaped the benefits was an awesome experience!"

If you are an entrepreneur, thinking of becoming one, or dreaming of the next Big Opportunity, please don't miss the next Entrepreneurship Forum!
