CoE Directions

 

The College of Engineering (CoE) at the University of Miami is a large and thriving program. For those students who are not familiar with the campus, we have put together various directions depending on where you are coming from.

  1. How do I get to CoE if I am coming via the Palmetto Expressway?
  2. How do I get to CoE if I am coming via I-95 and/or US-1?
  3. How do I get to CoE if I am coming via US-1 (Northbound)?
  4. How do I get to CoE if I am coming via Florida Turnpike?
  5. How do I get to CoE if I am coming via Miami International Airport?
 
 

Via the Palmetto Expressway:

 

  1. Take the Palmetto to Miller Road (SW 56 St.) exit
  2. East on Miller Road to San Amaro Drive
  3. Left turn onto San Amaro Drive
  4. 2nd Right into UM Campus (Memorial Drive)*
 
 
Via I-95 and US 1:
  1. Take I-95 South to US I (South Dixie Highway)
  2. US I to Red Road (SW 57 Avenue)
  3. Right turn onto Red Road and proceed to Miller Road (SW 56 St)
  4. Right turn onto Miller and proceed to San Amaro Drive
  5. Left turn onto San Amaro Dr.
  6. 2nd Right into UM Campus (Memorial Drive)*
 

Via US I (Northbound):

  1. Take US I to Red Road (SW 57 Avenue)
  2. Left turn onto Red Road and proceed to Miller Road (SW 56 St)
  3. Right turn onto Miller and proceed to San Amaro Drive
  4. Left onto San Amaro Drive
  5. 2nd Right into UM Campus (Memorial Drive)*
 
 

Via Florida Turnpike:

 

  1. Take the Turnpike South to Bird Road exit (SW 40 St)East on Bird
  2. Road to Red Road (SW 57 Ave.)
  3. Right turn on Red Road, proceed to Miller Road (SW 56 St.)
  4. Left turn onto Miller Road, proceed to San Amaro Dr.
  5. Left onto San Amaro Drive
  6. 2nd Right into UM Campus (Memorial Drive)*
 
 

Via Miami International Airport:

  1. Take LeJeune Road South to Bird Road (SW 40 Street)
  2. Proceed on Bird Road to Red Road (SW 57 Ave.)
  3. Left onto Red Road, proceed to Miller Road (SW 56 St)
  4. Left turn onto Miller Road, proceed to San Amaro Drive
  5. Left onto San Amaro Drive
  6. 2nd Right into UM Campus (Memorial Drive)*
 
 

** Proceed through Guard Gate (parking passes are left here for pickup if appropriate); metered parking is available along Memorial Drive.  The J. Neville McArthur Engineering Building is to the left of the Fountain Courtyard. (Building has decorative bafflework along the external walls).  The Dean's Office (reception area) is located in Room 255.
