The mission of the University of Miami Advancement Orientation and Training Program is to give the divisional staff the necessary skills and understanding of policies, procedures, best practices, database review and updating, and technical and budgetary principles required in the performance of their jobs.

The number of professional and support staff that work on the Advancement Orientation and Training Program totals ten and includes the Director of Advancement Training, a Training Specialist, the Associate Vice President for Advancement Services, her assistant, “volunteer” trainers, and occasionally “borrowed” support staff.
