As a commissioner of the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission established by the US Congress, Dr. June Teufel Dreyer has been a part of many extraordinary projects including editing the commission’s 2005 report to congress (available in hard copy through the government printing office or in www.uscc.gov, PDF download requires Adobe Reader).
Dr. Dreyer has traveled to Denver where she presented a paper on the opportunities for the United States and China to cooperate in energy development.
She has also written numerous books including the 5th edition of her book, China’s Political System: Modernization and Tradition, she co-edited, Contemporary Tibet: Politics, Development and Society in a Disputed Region and she is currently writing a book on Sino-Japanese relations, to be published by Oxford University Press.
Dr. Dreyer teaches Chinese Foreign Policy, Chinese Politics (domestic), U.S.
Defense Policy and Introduction to International Relations.
