In the sea of standard license plates, yours can be the one that turns heads. Make the right impression with a UM License Plate — now available in Florida and Maryland. A campaign is also under way to bring the specialty plate to Georgia.


It's Time to Pride Your Ride!


FLORIDA

After an amazing 24-year run, UM's beloved mascot, Sebastian the Ibis, has retired from his duties on the UM license plate. The new UM Florida specialty plate costs $25 more per year, in addition to registration fees.

Why get the U plate? It's a great way to show your pride for UM and also give back. Each purchase helps support student scholarships. Over its lifespan, UM's custom tag has generated about 80,000 sales, raising nearly $2 million for scholarships.

How do I get started? To obtain the U plate, visit your local Department of Motor Vehicles office. Plates may be personalized with up to five characters.

MARYLAND

The UM specialty plate, featuring Sebastian the Ibis, is available for purchase in Maryland. For eligible vehicles, it costs an additional $25 in addition to registration fees.

How do I get started? To order your plate today, download and fill out the Adobe Acrobat PDF Documentorder form and email it to mtejera@miami.edu at the University of Miami Alumni Association. GEORGIA

A time-limited campaign is under way by the UM Alumni Association to bring the UM license plate to Georgia! The Georgia Department of Revenue requires a commitment of 1,000 paid applications before the specialty plate can be issued by the state.
