The Inauguration of Julio Frenk as the sixth president of the University of Miami will take place on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the BankUnited Center on the Coral Gables campus. Alumni Weekend and Homecoming is an annual celebration where all alumni gather on campus to celebrate being a 'Cane! The weekend is full of campus traditions such as the Audrey R. Finkelstein UM Experience, Class Reunion Celebrations, Homecoming traditions such as the Parade, Boat Burning, Pep Rally and Fireworks, Homecoming Pregame and Game, the Annual Golden Ibis Society Celebration Brunch, and a number of gatherings and weekend extras are hosted throughout the weekend. Regardless of your graduation year, campus involvement, or area of study, there is something for everyone!
