Matching Gift Program
Double, or even triple, your gift to UM by having your employer match your donation! Thousands of companies offer to match all or a percentage of employee contributions to charitable organizations, making the employer a partner in your personal philanthropy. Best of all, you are recognized by UM for the full amount of your gift plus any resulting corporate match.
Most corporations have guidelines that the non-profit organization and employee must meet before a donation can be matched. Some require paper or electronic forms to be completed by the employee; others have automated programs that only require a phone call. Your company's Benefits or Human Resources Department can give you more information about their program and should also have the proper forms to complete.

- Simply return your completed form along with, or after, your contribution to UM.
- We will verify your matching gift eligibility, return the verified form to your employer.
- Your employer will send the University the matching gift.
