Beryl "Bunty" Cesarano, A.B. '33 Passes at 93
The University of Miami Alumni Association sadly announces the passing of Mrs. Beryl "Bunty" Cesarano, A.B. '33, at the age of 93. Bunty was the wife of Patrick Cesarano, B.B.A. ’35, (deceased) a longtime University of Miami Trustee and former Board of Trustees Chairman.
Bunty and Patrick met and married at UM, and raised their four children only four miles away from the Coral Gables campus. Their sons John “Chris” Cesarano, A.B. ’73, and Gregory “Greg” Cesarano, J.D. ’76, have both continued their family’s legacy by proudly graduating from the University. Greg is currently the President of the UM Alumni Association and is a member of the UM Board of Trustees.
The family's generosity to UM lives on in numerous ways including the Patrick Cesarano Plaza at the School of Business Administration and the Patrick Cesarano Laboratory in the Department of Neurology at the Miller School of Medicine.
