The Official UM Class Ring

The University of Miami was built on a history of pride, diversity, and commitment to excellence. Whether you graduated in 1955 or 2005, these qualities remain the same. As alumni you may walk the campus one day and realized the your University has changed. While new buildings continue to flourish on campus, one new tradition that will endure forever and serves as a visible symbol of your Hurricane pride is the University of Miami Official Class Ring.

The class ring is a constant reminder of your achievements and the history of our alma mater. We are proud to present the University of Miami Official Class Ring: the one symbol that transcends time and represents the common bond uniting our graduates.

Designed with pride for this institution by a group of students, alumni, and University administrators, this special ring is a symbol of your accomplishments at UM that you will cherish for years to come.

All alumni, and undergraduate students, who have achieved junior-year status with at least 60 credit hours, or graduate and doctoral students who have completed one year of their studies, are eligible to purchase the ring.

A significant part of the Official Ring Tradition is the Class Ring Ceremony, which takes place each Spring. At the ceremony, ring recipients have the opportunity to celebrate their academic achievements with family and friends as they receive their rings and recite the Ring Oath, pledging their lifelong commitment to UM.
