Senior Staff Associate, Alumni Programs- Campus Based

This position will provide senior-level administrative support for the overall Alumni Programs area as well as the Alumni Weekend and Student Advancement Outreach areas, and reports directly to the Director of Alumni Programs and Assistant Director Alumni Programs, Campus Based.
Provide senior level administrative program support and organization to the Alumni Programs team, especially in the areas of program budgeting and tracking, maintaining the central internal calendar of events, processing of expense items, preparation of check requisitions, purchase orders, interdepartmental requisitions, check deposits and record keeping.
Work closely with the Director of Alumni Programs to provide team administrative support in the areas of producing, proofreading, filing and distributing all external and internal correspondence and program activities; and providing customer service to alumni and volunteers. Serve as lead support for all Campus Based alumni events and programs. Interact with Alumni, Alumni Leaders, Volunteers, and Students, both over the phone and personally.
Requirements: HS diploma or equivalent and 5 years related work experience at a senior level, good typing skill, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Assistant Director, Annual Fund - Telemarketing (Assistant Director 2)

The University of Miami has an immediate opening for a full-time, Assistant Director of Telemarketing in the Office of Alumni Relations, Annual Fund, a division of University Advancement. The Assistant Director shares responsibility for implementing and managing the University's ongoing, automated, telephone solicitation program. Direct management of some evening (Sunday-Thursday) and Sunday afternoon calling sessions is necessary. The Assistant Director of Telemarketing also acts a student giving liaison and chairs the Senior Class Gift committee in their fundraising efforts. Strong computer knowledge is a necessity. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, marketing, and/or communications or other appropriate field. A minimum of three years experience in an alumni annual fund or related program with telephone solicitation, sales/training, and customer service required. Position #005258. Salary: Competitive.
