Class Reunions
Alumni Weekend and Homecoming is about getting together with friends and classmates on a breezy evening under the stars—no books or tests, just an entertaining night with lively music, dancing, and the chance to relive days gone by while celebrating the common bond that unites our UM family.
The 2011 Class Reunions were an amazing experience! Classes gathered on the Coral Gables campus and enjoyed reconnecting and reminiscing with one another during their reunion celebrations, while memorable tunes hit the airwaves in the background to set the mood. The reunions were rich with laughter and memories! Classmates then gathered at Alumni Avenue on the shore of Lake Osceola to watch the parade and take center-stage as we celebrated traditional homecoming activities at the heart of campus.
As the night continued, the years melted away and a community of 'Canes danced in the streets under amazing fireworks and watched in awe as the boat burned bright against the night sky… conga lines formed, and alumni reached across the decades to connect as only a 'Cane can!
