Grand Marshal

Each year, the University of Miami is excited to welcome back a famous 'Cane as the Grand Marshal during Alumni Weekend and Homecoming.

The Hurricane legend who will return to campus and lead the Homecoming parade along with President Shalala, Sebastian the Ibis, the Band of the Hour, and the Hurricane Cheerleaders this year will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement!

Past Grand Marshals have included Michael Irvin, Russell Maryland, Bennie Blades, Alonzo Highsmith, Maggie Rodriguez, and the 2012 Grand Marshal, Darrin Smith.
