SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION CENTER FOR STUDENT ACTIVITIES - $6.4 million

Although the School of Communication recently moved into its new home, the Frances Wolfson Building, a major need for student space is still unmet. A 25,000-square foot addition to the Wolfson Building will be used to create a Center for Student Activities. This addition will, among other things, house two computer labs—a digital lab and a computer lab for writing—as well as room for the debate team to practice and space for the school’s student organizations. Several naming opportunities are available within this new center, including:

  • a multimedia, theatre-style classroom for VIP speakers with seating for 150
  • a rooftop patio for entertaining students, faculty, staff, and distinguished visitors
  • a computer room open 24 hours a day
