M. CHRISTINE SCHWARTZ CENTER FOR NURSING EDUCATION - $7.9 million

The School of Nursing is building a state-of-the-art facility at on the University of Miami’s Coral Gables campus. Endowed by a generous $5 million gift from Ted and M. Christine Schwartz, the four-story, 53,000-square-foot M. Christine Schwartz Center for Nursing Education will include technologically innovative classrooms, clinical practice labs, a computer center and an office of nursing research. Entire wings of the Schwartz Center will be devoted to innovation in teaching and learning as well as research labs for cutting-edge nursing research.
