  Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine

• Stanley K. Tanger donated over $110,000 to benefit the creation of the Livingstone Chair in Surgical Oncology Research;

• Frederic M. Ayres contributed $100,000 to the Daughtry Chair in General Surgery;

• Bennett S. Lebow made a $100,000 gift to the Bennett and Geraldine Lebow Foundation Fund in the Department of Dermatology;

• Carol Pforzheimer and the Pforzheimer Foundation donated $267,510 to the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute for macular degeneration research;

• Anne and Matthew Smith committed $1 million to the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute to create an endowment for Dr. Timothy Murray.

• The Dwoskin Charitable Trust Foundation contributed $250,000 to the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to support Dr. Lossos’ lymphoma research.

School of Law

• Charles Cay Papy III, Esq. pledged $100,000 to name the Charles Papy Moot Court.

• Richard Rosenbaum donated $100,000 to the Hoffman-Greenberg Traurig Distinguished Professorship in the Business of Law Endowment.

Alumni Center

• The Bruce E. and Robbi S. Toll Foundation pledged $1 million to name The Bruce E. Toll Alumni Library in the Robert and Judi Prokop Newman Alumni Center.

School of Communication

• Masoud and Maria Shojaee committed $1 million to a name Shojaee Hall in the School’s new international building.

Financial Aid

• Masoud and Maria Shojaee pledged $500,000 to create the Shojaee Family Endowed Scholarship Fund.

• Steven C. Witkoff pledged $1 million to create The Martin Witkoff Endowed Scholarship Fund for undergraduate scholarships.

Lowe Art Museum

• Edward R. Roberts donated over $5 million worth of ancient American art objects to the Lowe’s permanent collection.

Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science

• The George B. Storer Foundation contributed $100,000 in unrestricted funds.

• The G. Unger Vetlesen Foundation gave $100,000 in unrestricted funds.

College of Arts and Sciences

• Jeffrey Aresty committed $2 million to create a permanent endowment to fund the Aresty Chair in Tropical Ecology.
