Soldier in Baghdad sends video message to wife, UM graduates

Stationed in Baghdad, U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander John Henderson couldn’t be in Coral Gables to see his wife, Susann Pearson, receive her Bachelor of Science in communication at the University’s commencement ceremony on Thursday. So he sent a recorded video message, offering his congratulations to her and the other graduates.

At the commencement ceremonies, professional photographers from Bob Knight Photography, will photograph all graduates as they walk across the stage. A complimentary copy will be mailed to graduates, along with instructions to order additional prints.
