Collaborizm is a matchmaking and collaboration platform that enables creative and entrepreneurial-minded individuals to connect and work with each other on projects, ideas, assignments, research, and more.
In association with the University of Miami, Collaborizm is launching a pilot initiative to provide the University’s community a new opportunity to generate collaboration between students, faculty, departments and schools. By breaking down traditional barriers to communication and networking, Collaborizm’s mission is to facilitate building new collaborative relationships and the sharing of ideas, including those originating in the classroom setting.
Collaborizm is for anyone at the University interested in meeting new people and collaborating, including students, faculty, administrators, clubs and organizations...it's fun to use; it's not your typical enterprise tool!
Enroll, sign up, create a profile, and then answer your collaborator matching questions
Collaborizm then suggests ideal collaborators and projects to you based on your unique personality traits,
working styles, interests, skill set, and much more
Start or join projects and then develop them with your new teammates using
Collaborizm’s virtual workspace tools
Explore other projects in the community, follow their progress, and provide feedback to their ideas
The idea for Collaborizm was incepted when its founder Steven Reubenstone was a sophomore Mechanical Engineering student at The U and was stymied attempting to find an Electrical Engineering student to collaborate with on an M.E. assignment. It dawned on Steven that a virtual tool was needed to help students find ideal teammates outside their niche communities at UM; however to be a productive tool, it also needed to provide a shared workspace for newly formed teams to collaborate. The idea for Collaborizm as born, at UM, and nurtured by The Launch Pad.
