To the University Community:

It is clear that the current economic crisis will affect all of the higher education community, and we certainly are not exempt. University leaders have been meeting, and we already are looking carefully at our current budgets and are working to tighten our fiscal belts. We know you will work with us to ensure that we do what we always have been uncommonly good at doing: delivering the best possible education, patient care, working environment, and support for our entire community within a lean budget.

Our long habit of working within our means will serve us well at this difficult time. We will keep you informed and thank each one of you for all you do for this community.
