Dear Colleagues,

Last week we strengthened school spirit and introduced a new tradition when we unveiled a seven-foot statue of the popular, iconic U logo on the Coral Gables campus, between the Rock and the Iron Arrow mound on the Foote University Green.

We’ve spent the past five years getting the U on everything—and now we have it at the most central location at the University. The statue instantly became a hit during Homecoming, with students and alumni gathering to take photographs around it. Our Student Government leaders spearheaded the campaign to show their pride in the U as a symbol of true Hurricane spirit.
