Nursing and Medical Experts to Discuss the Future of Nursing
With the U.S. Department of Labor projecting that 1.2 million replacement nurses will be needed by 2014, the School of Nursing and Health Studies will host a special panel discussion on Thursday, February 24 to discuss specific steps to resolve the nursing shortage and improve patient care across South Florida and the nation. A study by UM scientists suggests a new way to estimate how much of the ocean’s pollution is falling from the sky.
