Senior Brittany Viola concluded one of the most historic diving careers in University of Miami history last Saturday night, claiming her second NCAA National Championship on the 10-meter platform with a finals score of 354.25 on the last day of the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships, held at Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center at the University of Texas at Austin. | more

An Autograph Worth Collecting
University of Miami employees who are diehard baseball fans got the chance to experience one of the sport’s most popular events—an autograph session with one of the local legends of the game—when former Miami Hurricanes and former Florida Marlins pitcher Alex Fernandez signed baseball cards, hats, T-shirts, balls, and whatever else was on hand as part of a ticket distribution outing for the upcoming UM Family Night with the Marlins.
