The dramatic results of a clinical trial using a new minimally invasive valve replacement intervention that’s performed using catheters at select institutions around the country – and only at the University of Miami Hospital in Florida – have just been published online in The New England Journal of Medicine. | more

Well ’Canes Mammography Days in October

The Well ’Canes Mammography Days will be held October 6, 20, and 27 at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Miller School of Medicine, and October 15 at Sylvester at Deerfield Beach. During these events, UM/Aetna Medical plan members age 35 and older may get their free annual mammogram, and also receive educational materials and giveaways. | more
