The University of Miami Ethics Programs have awarded eight grants for the 2010-11 Arsht Research on Ethics and Community Program, with awards going to teams of UM faculty and student collaborators to conduct research projects that address contemporary moral issues with implications for public policy, professional practice, or human rights. | more

Faculty, staff, and students who have tickets and are attending the Dalai Lama event on Tuesday, October 26 are urged to walk or ride campus shuttle buses to get to the BankUnited Center. Also, motorists are advised to avoid the area of the BUC due to heavy traffic related to the event. | more
