SEEDS luncheon with President Shalala is this Wednesday

SEEDS (Scientists and Engineers Expanding Diversity and Success) will host its annual lunch with University of Miami President Donna E. Shalala on Wednesday, November 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Hurricane 100 Room at BankUnited Center. The event will give women from all UM campuses the opportunity to network, learn the results of the SEEDS Climate Survey, and hear remarks by President Shalala. | more

UM’s Visual Identity Program: compliance and assistance

Last year the University of Miami instituted its new visual identity program. It is important that all areas throughout the University adhere to the new system so the institution is represented in a uniform and consistent fashion. The system’s signatures, logos, and type fonts are the only authorized marks to be used in all University communications and must be used in accordance with the University’s guidelines. | more

Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen has been lauded as one of the most significant dramatists of the modern theatre for his unflinching realism, his controversial subject matter, and his revolutionary portrayal of women as independent thinkers.
