UM-FSU Men’s Basketball Matchup Designated Employee Day Game
The UM vs. Florida State men’s basketball game slated for Sunday, February 26 at BankUnited Center has been designated the 2012 Verizon Wireless Employee Day game. The promotion includes a pregame tailgate party for all participants as well as a host of other activities. The offer includes two tickets and two tailgate party passes for $5, or four tickets and four tailgate party passes for $10. | more

    Moot Court Team Headed for Competition in The Hague
    The School of Law’s International Moot Court team has advanced into the international rounds at the Pace/ICC Moot Competition for the third consecutive year. In a qualifying round at Pace Law School in New York, the Miami team became eligible to participate in April at the World Round of the International Criminal Court Trial in The Hague, where the students will argue in front of ICC judges.

    Don’t miss the grand opening of the new Coral Gables Healthy ’Canes Employee Clinic on Monday, February 27 at 12 p.m. Located at 5807 Ponce de Leon Boulevard (McKnight Building), across from Mark Light Field at Alex Rodriguez Park, the clinic is a walk-in medical facility for University of Miami faculty and staff, offering UHealth medical services for treatment of minor illnesses. | more

    Borrowed People|Constructed Places, on view from March 5 to 23 at the UM Wynwood Project Space, explores the creation of identity through the use of appropriated familial and found imagery. Anne Leighton Massoni, Libby Rowe, and Kris Sanford each create new stories from found photographs, taking something discarded and nearly lost and creating story anew. | more
